Br3wery - 1 Kelsey Park Rd, Beckenham BR3 6LH - a taproom showcasing their ales.

Greggs - 272 High St, Beckenham BR3 1DZ - formerly Homefayre, a homewares shop, this has now been transformed into a Greggs, open on Saturday 1st March 2025

PureGym - High Street Centre, 137-139 High St, Beckenham BR3 1AG - formerly Lidl, this site has been redeveloped recently and is now open as a Pure Gym, according to their website here, which still has opening offers available. 

Shara's Casual Dining - 435 Croydon Rd, Beckenham BR3 3PP - formerly Café Papilo, a new sign has just gone up with this name, and it looks like it's opening soon. The windows are still covered and there's no menu outside yet, so we don't know what sort of food they'll be selling. UPDATE: There is some new fencing around the outdoor seating area, so there has been some progress. UPDATE 2: There are some menus posted on the fencing, so hopefully this will be opening soon. UPDATE 3: It's now open!

Grace's - 242 High St, New Beckenham, London BR3 1EN - opened March 2024, café and pastries, with indoor and outdoor seats (formerly Ollie and Dollie)

Gyros Amigos - 210 High St, New Beckenham, London BR3 1EN - Greek and Mexican fast food, opened early 2024 - currently temporarily closed for a refurb and new focus

Erin's bar - 150-154 High St, Beckenham BR3 1EA - opened in September 2023 after a massive refurbishment (formerly Manor House bar, formerly Slug & Lettuce)

Paloma - 145 High St, Beckenham BR3 1AG - Latin American restaurant, opened in 2023 (formerly Prezzo)

East Street Barber - 403 Croydon Rd, Beckenham BR3 3PR - changed ownership in November/December 2023, replacing almost all of the regular barbers

Closed temporarily:

Agora - 66 High St, Beckenham BR3 1ED - closed and turning into a BBQ restaurant called Smoke-n-Flame

Gyros Amigos - 210 High St, New Beckenham, London BR3 1EN - temporarily closed for a refurbishment, the sign says "we are changing our concept" - UPDATE: looks like this is changing entirely, there's a new sign up saying it's now called The Groove Burger Club

Kelsey House - 75 High St, Beckenham BR3 1AN - temporarily closed while the Travelodge building works are completed. Was due to reopen in March 2024, but no new updates since then. From the website: "We regret to inform you that we’ve had to make the sad decision to close Kelsey House for business effective immediately. We recently received the news that the building works going on above and around us have been delayed from the end of November 2023 to at least the end of March 2024. Unfortunately the knock on effects of that to us mean we can’t continue trading until these works are completed. We hope to see you at some point in 2024 when Kelsey House hopefully comes back bigger, brighter and better." UPDATE! The website has recently added that they'll be reopening soon! Check out their website and keep an eye on their socials. Great news! NEW UPDATE: Kelsey House had a soft relaunch weekend to test out their new food options, which was a great success. Closed permanently:

KebabYe - 292-294 High St, Beckenham BR3 1DY - after two refurbishments, one very recently, it seems to have finally closed its doors permanently - the sign letters have been removed, and most of the shop contents are being removed as of Friday 27th September, 2024.

Ollie and Dollie - 242 High St, New Beckenham, London BR3 1EN - children's toy and clothing store, closed the physical shop in 2023, but is still open online at their website - site is now a cafe called Grace's (see above)

Café Papilo - 435 Croydon Rd, Beckenham BR3 3PP - closed early 2024 - posters for a new Mexican restaurant recently appeared in the windows, saying "coming soon", but they came down again last month, so it's unclear if anything is happening at the moment. Homefayre - 272 High St, Beckenham BR3 1DZ - homeware shop, closed end of 2023

Lidl - High Street Centre, 137-139 High St, Beckenham BR3 1AG - closed in November 2023 (lease was up, they tried to find another site, but no updates recently) - this is now a PureGym (see above)

Starbucks - 220 High St, New Beckenham, London BR3 1EN - closed in March 2024 (notice in window, and sign outside has been removed)

Kwik Fit - 404 Croydon Rd, Beckenham BR3 4EP - closed in 2022/2023

Risto, Italian Restaurant - Beckenham BR3 1BN - closed a few years ago

Remel's, Children's Store - Beckenham BR3 1BN - closed several years ago
