PureGym opening soon in the old Lidl site

A new branch of PureGym is opening soon, on the old Lidl site which has been redeveloped recently. This is coming soon, according to their website here, which has opening offer discounts available.

Tesco Express Croydon road temporarily closed

The Tesco Express on Croydon Road by the war memorial is temporarily closing from Friday 11th October until Tuesday 29th October, according to a sign in the window. There's no other explanation, so it's probably a refurbishment or rewiring, it's always very busy so hopefully it will stay just a temporary closure.

Update! This has since reopened, on the original planned date of 29th October.
