New Aldi branch for Beckenham?

There have been a few reports online recently about a potential branch of Aldi moving to Beckenham. As reported by the News Shopper, apparently they're looking to open branches in Bromley and Beckenham, they're just looking for suitable sites that are big enough.

This would be great news for Beckenham, as we recently lost our Lidl, and don't have anything comparable to replace it. Fingers crossed Aldi can find somewhere soon.

This site keeps track of the shops in Beckenham, South London (technically Kent, but what's a postcode between friends). What's open, what's closed, what's coming soon, what's going soon. 

It's not a listing of opening times - this is for people to find out what shops have closed down, and what's on the horizon. Why? Because I wanted to find out about a particular shop a while ago, and there wasn't any information out there.
